Starting this October, Unreal Detroit is launching an ambitious monthly event series designed to bring together our city's most creative minds. The Motor City Mixtape is a groundbreaking project and a collaborative journey into the heart of an open-source, community-owned digital twin of Detroit.
Each month, we'll bring together a unique mix of comic creators, musicians, game developers, and tech visionaries to explore the intersection of creativity, code, and cost. You'll get an inside look at how we're building a new reality, from crafting compelling narratives and designing immersive experiences to creating sustainable economic models that benefit everyone.
Hosted by the leaders of the Unreal Detroit Community, this series will feature deep dives into a wide range of topics, including:
Adapting intellectual property into games
The art of the pitch and presentation
Creating immersive sonic and visual experiences
The business of a digital economy
And much more!
We'll also be joined by special guests from the worlds of comics, music, and technology to share their insights and experiences. This is your chance to learn from the best, connect with fellow creators, and be a part of a project that will redefine what's possible in Detroit.
