We are pleased to have Lead VFX Artist MC Derne join us fresh from recently shipping Flintlock - The Siege of Dawn, the AAA game produced by Wellington based studio A44 as well as Garrick Rawlingson and the folks at Floating Rock with updates on Kyoryu and Cineplay, and reflect on a big year that was 2024 and the exciting things coming up for 2025.

**Speaker added** Jonathan Swartz from Nvidia will join us to talk about his talk/paper on “ƒVDB: A Deep-Learning Framework for Sparse, Large Scale, and High Performance Spatial Intelligence” at  SIGGRAPH 2024.

We will be starting 6:15pm at the same usual venue, Victoria University, 139 Vivian Street, Lecture Theater 1 (LT1) followed by a mixer at Southern Cross Bar, 39 Abel Smith Street.
