Samuel has 25 years of experience as a technical, systems and narrative designer, writer, educator and creative lead within the games industry, spanning everything from AAA strategy games, first-person shooters and live action FMV to small team indie development, notably the award winning Unreal 4 based VR title ADR1FT.
As an evangelist, Samuel uses his knowledge and lifelong passion for games and game development to help solo and indie devs bring their visions to life using the Unreal Engine, with an emphasis on Blueprint scripting, rapid prototyping and process.
Jeremy McCarron, Founder and CEO of Trickfilm Entertainment, is a 25-year veteran of the animation and interactive entertainment industries with broad experience in animation & video game production management. Trickfilm is pioneering the digital transformation of the animation industry with its distribution and monetization platform for real-time animation.
Han is an early adopter of Unreal Engine for cinematic production. Coming from a film VFX background, Han worked on movies like Aquaman, Logan, and Star Trek. Since his first Unreal short film The Lander (2017), Han keeps pushing new levels of fidelity and speed in real-time film production for game cinematics and trailers. Han’s work focuses on bringing impactful storytelling, realistic cinematography, and emotional performance into virtual production.

Nick began his career in 2012 as Founder and President of Vancouver Computer Graphics Association, hosting over 100 events, various projects and initiatives. In 2018, Nick headed and produced the ‘Galactic Battles’ Open Source VFX Project, which was a short fan film that brought on junior CG, interns and film artists and paired them with seasoned mentors from the industry to create a collaborative project. The film has had over 6.3M views on YouTube and become a cult-classic on the internet.
In 2020, Nick started learning Unreal Engine and now specializes in inertial motion capture and creating Content in Unreal Engine. In 2022, he started started development of a video game called "Green Hawk Platoon", which is his main focus right now. The game is quickly gaining popularity and is in the pre-beta stages right now.
Tim loves animation and tools, and animation tools! His experience has had him working in motion capture, traditional animation, on set, CG supervision, and tools development. Creating workflows that work for artists to help create better stories is an obsession of his. Unreal is a very natural progression for Tim who is always looking for a better way to work. He is currently the Motion Capture Supervisor at Beyond Capture, in charge of pipeline and final product.
