Talk 1: Going Through the Motions: Harnessing Unreal Engine for Real-time Motion Desig - Jacques Parys

Jacques Parys is a Toronto-based creative technologist, motion designer, and educator with over 14 years of experience crafting moving image for almost every type of screen. From pure content creation and animation, to art, technical, and creative direction, Jacques has collaborated with agencies, studios, and worked independently to deliver award-winning work spanning traditional broadcast, social media, and post-production pipelines, as well as interactive and immersive media for experiential installations, including content for live shows, projection mapping, VR/AR, and public interactive installations for museums and trade shows.

Talk 2: The journey into real time animation production - Lee Ormerod

Lee James Ormerod is an Animation director and creative technologist based out of Toronto and Halifax. With over 15 years experience in design and animation, Filmmaking and live action and the fields that intersect, Lee's passion for creating new and engaging ways of storytelling and crafting meaningful animated experiences is unrivalled. Lee is also the co-founder and Creative Director of Coup D’etat, a content creation studio specialising in visual storytelling through the mediums of Animation and Video.
