Hey Everyone!

So this has been on my mind for quite some time and something I had always intended to do with the group from the beginning.

How do we actually get an actively involved community going where we not only hang out, share ideas and experiences but also motivate and inspire each other to do more, learn and improve our skills? 

We all come from a variety of different backgrounds and skills and I think regardless we can all contribute and benefit if we work together.

So let’s get together for an online virtual meet up on our Discord Channel this Wednesday and begin discussing and brainstorming how exactly we could realistically accomplish this

I recently participated in the Unreal Animation Fellowship and it was really fun to collaborate with people around the world who were just as excited and passionate about creating something and then actually making it happen!

I think we can totally do this here too. Perhaps a good way to start is come up with a small project we can all contribute to in some way.

One possible idea is to create a short concept piece that would allow us to make use of the benefits of virtual production and motion capture.

Another idea perhaps for the beginners amongst us is to design  a very simple project you can do on your own to learn the basics..

Anyhow these are a just  two  ideas off the top of my head. I’m sure we can come up with many more. Sometimes the best way to learn and stay motivated is to have a very specific task or assignment with an actual deadline to work on.

Anyhow let’s get together and start talking and see what we can come up with.
