Calling all students and hobbyists in Hamar!

Looking to keep up your momentum or build portfolio material?
Miss working on strange ideas and projects with others?

Hamar Game Events and the Unreal Community in Hamar will trial a Summer Slow-Jam where people come together to work on a game over the summer to be presented at an event this fall. All are welcome, be thy student, active game developer or something in-between.
Think of a game idea that can reasonably be done in a month or two, account for having vacations. Prepare a short pitch deck if you want to. Include the core idea, and what sort of team you need.

Bring it to the GameDev Meetup at the 6th of june.
Build a team around your idea, or join someone elses project.
Make the game over the summer, plan and schedule is all up to you
Present the result at an event this fall.

Q/A
Do I have to bring an idea on the 6th?
- No, you are free to just fish for projects to join instead. Or abandon one you brought to join another

Can I work on it solo?
- Yes

Do I have to be present the whole time?
- No, you can do as you please during the jam, this is a summer project for your enjoyment, not a weekend crunch.

Is there a theme?
- Not really.

Are there prizes at the end?
- Something symbolic of your effort will be provided.

May I join or bring others in after the start?
- Absolutely, the earlier events are mostly to help create groups.
