Welcome to Game Zanga- an event targeting game development enthusiasts across the Arab region.

What is Game Zanga?

Game Zanga is an event aimed at game development enthusiasts throughout the Arab region, challenging them to develop games within a specific theme over just three days. The goal is to encourage the learning of required game development skills and to foster rapid development in an exciting atmosphere that promotes participation, interaction, and experimental game development.

Game Zanga, or as known in English as Game Jam, is a popular format for game development events globally, where game developers of all levels gather to develop games within a specific theme (known in English as Theme) in a very short period. The specific theme is a constraint all participants adhere to, ensuring a start and end to game development within the event duration. It also serves as a challenge to developers, pushing them to be creative in concept and execution.

Game Zanga is a non-profit initiative to support the gaming industry, initially organized by the Tako game developers community and today organized by volunteer game developer communities from all around the Arab world.

Game Zanga 13 Schedule: It will be held at 8:00 PM Saudi Arabia time on Thursday, 2024/7/10, and will end at 10:00 PM on Sunday night, 2024/7/13, i.e., 3 days (72 hours).

ماهو زنقة الالعاب؟

زنقة الالعاب هي فعالية تستهدف محبي تطوير الألعاب في جميع أنحاء المنطقة العربية في تحدي لتطوير ألعاب ضمن موضوع محدد خلال ثلاثة أيام فقط. والهدف من ذلك هو تشجيع تعلم المهارات المطلوبة لتطوير الألعاب وتطويرها بشكل سريع في أجواء حماسية تشجع على المشاركة والتفاعل والتطوير التجريبي للألعاب.

الزنقة أو ما يعرف بالإنجليزية بـ الكيم جام Game Jam هي إحدى صيغ فعاليات تطوير الألعاب الرائجة عالمياً حيث تجمع مطوري الألعاب من كافة المستويات ليطوروا ألعاب ضمن موضوع (بالانكليزي معروف ب Theme) محدد في فترة قصيرة جداً. الموضوع المحدد يتقيد به الجميع كوسيلة لضمان بداية ونهاية العمل بتطوير اللعبة خلال فترة الزنقة كما أنها وسيلة لوضع عائق أو قيد لتحدي المطورين ودفعهم لأن يبدعوا في الفكرة والتطبيق.

زنقة الالعاب هي مبادرة غير ربحية لدعم صناعة الألعاب بدأ تنظيمها من قبل مجتمع مطوري تاكو للالعاب واليوم يتم تنظيمها من قبل مجتمعات مطوري الالعاب متطوعين من جميع انحاء العالم العربي
